Our story

Matt’s experience comes from a background in renovations and new build construction. He began his career working for a smaller company, specializing in high end renovations and architectural concrete. He then transitioned into new build construction where he worked his way up from carpenter to project manager. Matt’s background in renovations and new construction has given him a wide scope of knowledge and expertise.

As your contractor, Matt strives to provide excellent client service and superb workmanship in his projects. Matt takes pride in his client and industry relations. He is passionate about bringing ideas to reality through his hard work and dedication.

A North Vancouver local, Matt spends his free time exploring the outdoors with his family, and enjoying all the North Shore has to offer.

I used Promenade Renovations for renovating my main bathroom. Matt was considerate and thoughtful while making recommendations for colour and design, as well as taking into consideration what I liked. Matt’s attention to detail was appreciated and the work was done efficiently and completed on time. I felt confident with his work and delighted with the look of my new bathroom. In the summer of 2022, Promenade Renovations renovated our extremely outdated 1980's condo kitchen and we are thrilled. When we started to interview contractors for the job in the spring, I was completely disillusioned - the companies we talked to didn't seem to understand our goals, didn't seem trustworthy and their ballpark quotes were crazy! Within 10 minutes of meeting Matt from Promenade, I knew we'd found a good one. Throughout the quoting process to completion of the job, Matt was a great communicator and brought forward ideas that saved us money AND made the finished product superb. Protecting our existing floors and each new element of the kitchen was a priority for Matt and he went above and beyond. All of the sub-trades he brought in were great guys. Matt treated our reno like it was his own from day one; I just cannot say enough good things. My kids and I will actually miss not seeing him around the condo. Thank you, Matt. You're a star.
